Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is anywhere outside where I can lay down on the grass in the sun. I love being outside which is great because Westmont has so many spots on campus in nature. I have appreciated the time Every time I step out of my dorm room I am faced with beautiful trees, flowers, and so much green.
What do I love about Westmont: I love the students and the conversations that come from experiences in and out of the classroom. I have found since my freshman year that students at Westmont care deeply and are passionate about what is happening in the world. I am constantly grateful to be part of a community that is not afraid to open the door to difficult conversations.
Favorite memory at Westmont: My favorite memory is at spring formal my sophomore year. A song came on that my group of friends and I knew well and we sang it at the top of our lungs. It is fun to be around your close friends and enjoy each other’s presence while being comfortable enough to bust out some funny dance moves.
Hobbies: Some of my favorite hobbies include dancing, cooking, singing, and I am currently learning how to play guitar. I recently went abroad to Mexico and learned a few Latin dances! Over the semester I had an amazing dance instructor who helped me rediscover my love of dance. I plan to continue to use the skills I learned abroad and learn different styles of dance.
